One of the most important measures to reduce energy consumption in a ventilation system is to replace the fans.
All types of belt-operated fans and even so-called Centrifugal fans with outlet opening on the pressure side of the ventilation unit must be replaced with new EC fans. EC stands for Electronic Commutation. This means that the drive motor of the fan contains an electronic power regulator which in all cases reduces operating costs by between 40-50% compared with existing fans.
We replace existing fans with modern, efficient centrifugal fans that meet all EU energy efficiency and fan performance regulations.
We make fan performance calculations as well as replacement with associated changes to existing unit bodies. We simultaneously change control and monitoring at the facility.
Our suppliers of EC fans are (globally) the 2 largest producers of EC fans in the world. They both have a very solid technical experience and knowledge in the field. The companies are located in Germany, called EBM-Papst and Ziehl-Abegg
